The SDI AOP today announced the introduction of a 10-year historical dataset for sustainability-oriented technological innovations. The dataset was developed by Entis and enables users to deploy the data for a range of additional use cases. These include quant investing and thematic investing, as well as a more sophisticated and forward-looking evaluation of the sustainability of a company. Each of these use cases benefits from the back testing capabilities that this enhancement supports.
The historical data is an extension to the SDI Innovation Outlook (also developed and maintained by Entis) which is a score measuring the exposure to sustainable technologies for >2500 companies. These technologies are evaluated against the same SDI taxonomy that underpins the classification data measuring the SDG alignment of products and services. This consistent perspective on products, services and technologies makes the SDI-AOP data a unique offering in the market. The consistent and highly accurate scoring at scale is enabled by Entis’ AI capabilities.
